Seneca Falls

The Open Eye Theater in Margaretville, New York, celebrated the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage in New York State with a new play, "Seneca Falls." Written by Karen Howes, with music by Elliot Sokolov, the play traces the beginnings of the Suffragette movement from 1848 to 1882.

In the words of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, "I'm glad to be a woman. We simply need to change a few rules that we're made to operate under!"
