IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY, is adapted by Joe Landry from the story, “The Greatest Gift” by Philip Van Doren Stern. Most folks are familiar with the film starring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. In this radio style version with live sound effects, the plot is the same: an angel shows George Bailey just how much his life matters.

Charles Dickens is coming to The Open Eye Theater on the Winter Solstice, December 21, with “GABRIEL GRUB AND THE GOBLINS,” adapted by James Yeara from the Dickens story, “The Goblins Who Stole A Sexton.” A precursor to “A CHRISTMAS CAROL,” this story was written seven years earlier.
